Where is Lefay Resort & SPA Lago di Garda?

As the name suggests, Lago di Garda is perched up a mountain with panoramic views overlooking Lake Garda. It sits on a 27-acre estate, which is lined with lemon trees, olive groves and plenty of colourful fauna. The property is situated just above Gargnano, on the quieter side of the lake. It's a bit of a winding road up to the resort, but trust me, the views are so worth it. You feel like you're entering a different world, a peaceful oasis away from the hustle and bustle. Both Milan and Verona airport are under 2-hours from the hotel - with private transfers available.

As you arrive at Lago di Garda, check in takes place on the lobby's balcony, where you immediately soak in one of the most stunning 180 degree view of Lake Garda whilst sipping on your arrival wellness juice. It's at this moment you can pause and begin to feel just how rejuvenating the experience at Lefay will bring.

What are the rooms like at Lefay Resort & SPA Lago di Garda?

Lefay offers a range of luxurious rooms and suites, all designed with natural materials and a calming aesthetic. Every single room and suite boasts a private terrace or balcony with stunning lake views, so you're guaranteed a beautiful vista no matter where you stay. While every room is gorgeous, I have to say my personal favourites were the newly renovated Sky Suites. They are absolutely incredible, with floor-to-ceiling windows offering breathtaking views of the lake, plus your very own private sauna and jacuzzi. Imagine waking up to that every morning and then unwinding in your own spa haven! Pure bliss. For those traveling as a family, Lefay also offers spacious Family Suites, providing plenty of room for everyone to spread out and relax. And if you're looking for the ultimate in luxury, the Royal Suite is the top category, offering unparalleled opulence and amenities.

What is the food like at Lefay Resort & SPA Lago di Garda?

The culinary experience at Lefay is a true highlight. They have a deep commitment to both health and flavor, evident in their diverse menus. While they offer dedicated options for those on detox programs, the regular menus are equally enticing, showcasing the region's fresh, seasonal ingredients. I had the pleasure of trying dishes from both, and I was consistently impressed by the creativity and quality. Lefay clearly understands that healthy food doesn't have to be bland – it can be vibrant, delicious, and incredibly satisfying. There's also a dedicated space for those taking their detox seriously, to avoid any temptations after seeing guests who are there on a less strict plan. La Limonaia, the open-air restaurant, is an absolute must. Dining there, with the breathtaking views of Lake Garda stretching out before you, is an unforgettable experience. The ambiance is magical, especially as the sun sets. They also have a fine dining restaurant, Gramen, which, unfortunately, I didn't have time to visit. It's high on my list for next time!

What is there to do at Lefay Resort & SPA Lago di Garda?

Where do I even begin? The spa at Lefay is truly a "temple of wellness." It's vast and offers a huge range of treatments, from traditional massages to more innovative therapies.  It's not just the size that's impressive, but also the attention to detail and the overall atmosphere. Imagine relaxing in a panoramic sauna with views of the lake, or floating in a salt lake designed to promote relaxation and well-being. They even have beautiful couples treatment rooms, perfect for a shared spa experience. Beyond the treatments, the spa also boasts a well-equipped gym for those who want to maintain their fitness routine while traveling. I enjoyed the most enjoyable 10k run I've ever done on a treadmill! You could easily spend an entire day there (and I highly recommend you do!). Beyond the spa, the resort is surrounded by an 11-hectare park, perfect for leisurely walks or invigorating runs. The natural beauty of the area is simply incredible, and it's so peaceful to wander through the olive groves and gardens.
